Google launches Android N

Cold war going on silently between Android, Mac and Microsoft Developers, they always trying to increase their users. They all are right at their stage and we all are lucky because we got better experience on every updated versions. With the plus point of Google Play Store, Android increases their users every moment and now that Google has announced Android Nougat as the sugary successor of Marshmallow, it's probably time to see what the new operating system has in store for Android fans.

Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to surface with upcoming Nexus phones later this year and will show up in other premium phones from early next year.

Launched at Google's I/O Conference in May, Android Nougat, apart from featuring in upcoming Nexus flagships, will also power existing ones like Google's Nexus 5X and 6P, Motorola Nexus 6, Nexus 9G, Nexus Player, Google Pixel C and General Mobile 4G running Android One.

Tap to reloadEven though the final version of Android Nougat is yet to be released, its beta version is available to be downloaded on existing devices. While Android N has undoubtedly brought in a number of new features, security updates and battery saving functions compared to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, you will be able to try out these features and provide feedback to Google based on your experiences. Once you download the beta version, you can try out a new app carousel which will put recently used apps in a list, use two screens at a time, try out the 'Clear All' button, respond to notifications without opening apps as well as try out the new Unicode 9 emoji support.

Once you download the beta version, you will also be able to experience a new graphics API named Vulcan. Vulcan lets apps install 75 per cent faster in phones running Android N compared to those that run older operating systems, including Marshmallow. Android Nougat also includes file-based encryption, media-hardening framework, new battery saving features and probably a lot of good-looking wallpapers.
